Who We Are

With over 40 years of playing experience we know what teams, their coaches and their families want when it comes to the user experience for fastpitch tournaments. 

* NO SHORT INSIGNIFICANT GAME TIMES – We believe in value for your money and have been producing longer game (we prefer to call them “real games”) therefore we don’t believe in games less than 1 hour 20 minutes (10U/12) or 1 and 1/2 hours for 14U/16U/18U.

* CREATIVE FORMATS – we NEVER offer formats “like everybody else”.  We pay attention to detail and do our level best to make sure that we build an event around YOUR preferences – and NEVER forget you came to compete!

* NO, Stay To Play at our events! In fact – if you stay with OUR partners we actually give you something of value (like an extra game) instead of lightening your wallet!

* CAMPS –  All Cowart Sports Events, Inc. Sports Camps are NCAA Compliant and open to any and all entrants, limited only by space, age and grade level.

CSE FASTPITCH FOREVER SCHOLARSHIP

We at Cowart Sports Events believe very strongly in not only in the production of high quality events serving ALL types of athletes – but the obligation to support the sport and the athletes who play it. It’s with that spirit is why we are proud to announce our “Fastpitch Forever” college scholarship.  

As we kick off the 2022 competitive season, which begins September 1, 2021, $25.00 of each and EVERY entry fee will go to support and create these financial gifts for the athletes that play this game.

While we cannot provide athletic scholarships to play softball at the collegiate level, we can certainly provide scholarships BECAUSE you play softball.  CSE feels a strong obligation to help and aid in that process.  

Everyone at Cowart Sports all came from the athletic ranks and know what it takes to set a goal and the hard work it takes to achieve and see it through. We also know that each athlete is working hard to have opportunities to conquer the mountain of a earning a college degree. Our goal is to pay forward the life harvest of blessings that we have all been fortunate enough to reap from this game we all love,live and breathe.   

All current or incoming high school Seniors are encouraged to apply. The winners will be announced and presented at our 10th Annual Texas State Championships and Southwest Regionals in College Station, TX June 9th 2022.  Each award  will be $4,000.00.  

We are proud to be able to give back to the game that has given so much to all of us in a career and/or life path.  We are honored to have the privilege of paying it forward to the next generation to perpetuate the future of fastpitch softball! The real beauty of this is the more teams that play with us each year – the more scholarships we can fund!  To apply – please use the online application accessable below.

Requirements to Apply:

  1. Current or past participation in a Cowart Sports Events, Inc. Event
  2. Current high school senior.
  3. GPA of 3.5 or higher (weighted or unweighted)
  4. SAT score of over 1000 or over 20 on ACT
  5. Not receiving ANY financial athletic aid from your college or university 
  6. Create a 1000+ word essay
  7. Submit 2 letters of reference
